What kind of events and attractions are there at Apley Estate?

Apley Estate offers a wide variety of events and attractions that take place all year round, ranging from seasonal celebrations to family-friendly activities. Hosting a range of activities that include the whole family, you can visit our trade fairs, join easter egg trails,  attend our Classic Motor Day, Halloween pumpkin picking and participate in many more fun and inclusive activities.

Where are these events held?

All events take place on the estate, with indoor celebrations being held inside our Apley Farm Shop and courtyard, and outdoor events taking place around the grounds, with our events field offering 3 acres of space to run, explore and join the fun.

Do I need to book tickets for events?

This entirely depends on the event, however, we always recommend booking in advance to secure your place. For busier events such as Halloween and Christmas celebrations, we advise booking well in advance due to the popularity and to assist the organisers in planning the capacity of the event.

What seasonal events are there for families?

Apley Estate hosts a range of fun seasonal activities and events all year round, including our springtime Easter egg hunt, Halloween and pumpkin patch events in autumn, beautiful firework displays, and wintery Christmas markets and festive events. Throughout the year, we also run a variety of family-oriented activities such as craft fairs, tea parties, and outdoor experiences.

Are there markets or fairs?

Yes, at Apley Estate, we host a variety of markets and fairs depending on the season. Our popular Christmas market is a big hit every year for families wanting to join the festive fun, as well as craft markets and trade fairs where local makers, growers and artisans showcase their speciality products.

Can I bring my dog to events?

If you wish to bring your dog to any of our events, it’s worth checking our website first to confirm whether it’s dog-friendly. Our outdoor areas and courtyard spaces are all dog-friendly; however, in certain areas where children are present, restrictions may be in place prohibiting dogs from that area.
