Situated in eight thousand acres of Apley Estates picturesque Shropshire countryside, Stockton House provides a luxurious and elegant backdrop for any wedding day. The impressive 7 bedroom Grade II listed country house was home to the Hamilton family until very recently, then following a full renovation during 2021/22, the home was transformed into a stunning wedding venue designed with opulence, style and guest comfort in mind. With facilities for both inside and outside wedding, Stockton House allows our many couples the opportunity to hold their ceremony and wedding reception with us, or alternatively, we’re delighted to be situated just a stone throw from the pretty St. Chads church.
Following a successful year since opening their doors in August 2022, we’re delighted to announce that Stockton House is a Regional Finalist for The Wedding Industry Awards 2024.
After showcasing our dedication to personalised service, Amy and the team have achieved the nominations for both ‘Venue’ and ‘Newcomer’, which is an incredible achievement for such a small, new team, however it is no surprise when the couples they host leave reviews such as “You can see from pictures that the house is beautiful and the location is gorgeous, but it’s the team and the service you receive which really elevates your experience. You are made to feel special, and not just someone else who’s getting married there.” – Sian.
Whilst we would be absolutely delighted for the Estates premium wedding venue to win such prestigious awards, we’re humbled to be regional finalists and look forward to finding out the results at the awards ceremony in November 2023.
